|How has your wellness journey noticed by those around you?||My colleagues at work noticed the changes and asked me what I was doing, and I was thrilled to tell them about Arbonne. Nurses are not well known for taking great care of themselves, and I shared how great this felt to care for myself in this way.|
|Have your food cravings diminished?||I never thought I could live without bread, dairy and sugar, but I felt so good, it was easy|

|Has the challenge helped your mental state (ie. improved focus, feeling more alert, happier)||I had my 60th birthday last month. I cried with joy as it was the first time in my life I have loved my body and myself, no criticism, just acceptance and love.|
Tell us a little bit about your experience with the 30 day challenge.
I started my first challenge July 25, 2016. I enjoyed my main meal at noon and had a delicious morning strawberry shake and evening chocolate shake to look forward to. I fell in love with kale, sweet potatoes, green apples and almond butter. I felt liberated from the morning stumbling to the coffee pot and felt a new energy and wellness without coffee. I felt the shakes and plan was so good, I had no worries about not eating enough to have energy for my life. In a very short time, I started to feel so good. I dropped 15 lbs the first month and could not believe it, as I did no exercise besides my daily life activities. I started to feel lighter in my body, less knee and foot aches.
I had no fast food Styrofoam garbage, my kitchen was easy to clean. I enjoyed preparing my own meals and that in itself was nourishing. I think I saved money as I wasted less on eating out and had much better quality food. I never thought I could live without bread, dairy and sugar, but I felt so good, it was easy. It was so easy, that I kept up the challenges for 5 months, through the holiday season, and had a weight reduction of 40 lbs. My family couldn’t believe how great I looked when they saw me at Thanksgiving. OF course, I treated myself to some new clothes, and dropped from a xtra large and large scrub garb to medium for the first time ever!
Tell us a little bit about your injury and how Arbonne helped you on your journey.
I started ice skating after Christmas and was thrilled to be in my body and with this new exercise and my new body. Amazingly, I fell about 3 weeks later and had a severe traumatic brain injury. I was in a coma for 10 days, had great medical care and months of rehabilitation therapy and so many prayers that I had a complete recovery. I also believe that the great shape I was in prior to the accident, thanks to Arbonne, played a significant role in my recovery. I know all the exercises would have been an even greater challenge if I had that additional 40 lbs to lift and move. I feel my body was able to tolerate all the medicines and procedures and heal itself because I was so “clean.”
